It’ll be a unique day of Dynamic Exploration & Discovery for Schools in the City of Kingston. Students and teachers will:

+ Judge the Big Green Short Film Competition
+ Showcase Sustainable Action in Schools
+ Experience Green ‘Hands On’ Action in the Garden, Kitchen, Farm & Wetlands
+ Develop Big Green Ideas for the City of Kingston & the World
+ Establish Activist Groups that will promote Big Green Action into the Future

CALL FOR ENTRIES!
The Big Green Festival’s short film competition is calling for entries from Australian Primary & Secondary Students. Finalists in the 2010 film competition will be screened at the Big Green Festival on Sunday, 12 December (at Carrum Primary School), with Best Film and Audience Award announced at the Festival.
SUBMISSION INFORMATION
1. Films must be no longer than ONE Minute in duration (including titles & credits)
2. Films must be based around the theme “Environmental Warriors”
3. Both narrative and documentary films are acceptable and can be in any style including animation
FILM AWARD
Best Film Prize: One Flip Camera

It’s Back!!
On Sunday, 12 December 2010 (3-8pm), the Big Green Festival will be held at Carrum Primary School. Showcasing a spectacular environmental twilight happening, the Big Green Festival will feature: Americana & Roots Music, Short Film Competition, Green Education, Environmental Activists, Farmers Market, Gourmet Food, Green Artwork, and lots more!
